     It was already New Years Eve, amu and her family were heading to the temple and shrine to celebrity the New Year, afterwards they will be heading to the festival. "Amu-chan take Ami-chan to a stand where you she can play." her mother said she took her to look around and then Ami-chan smiled with joy and excitement and saw a stage with a microphone and one spotlight "onee-chan I want to be up there" Ami-chan said. She saw a sign and it read "Annual Karaoke Competition" so she took her and she chose Hoshina,Utau song Meikyuu Butterfly. She sang and everyone applaud for her and the announce the winner it was Hinamori,Ami her prize was a trophy and 10,000 yens. Ami-chan was so happy she asked her sister to take her to her parents to tell her family what she got, it wasn't a stuff animal or candy. "Amu-chan thank you so much for taking Ami-chan to sing" her parents said so they let Amu look around the temple and festival to look for her friends so they gave her so extra yen to splurge on herself. When she was looking around the festival she found Nagihiko and Rima holding hands together and walking around the festival "Rima, Nagihiko Happy New Year Eve" Amu smiling "Hi" Rima said. She talked with them for a while and then she went to the temple to make a New Year wish "I wish the New Year will be better and changes will come for me" Amu thought in her head. She went to the festival and she wondered about Ikuto so she walked to a sacred tree that was a rare cherry blossom tree to relax for a while  and then she heard "Ikuto what should we do nya"
     She looked up and so Ikuto on top of the sacred tree "Ikuto!" Amu shock to see up there "yo, Happy New Year" Ikuto stayed calm, Amu told him to get down before he gets into trouble with the temple people. He got down then they heard some girls scream "Ikuto-kun" he grabbed Amu hand and ran she wondered what's going on. They hid behind a shrine statue and waited for them to go somewhere else "what just happened" Amu said "some girls from my school wanted me to take them to the temple like a date" Ikuto said. He smiled and walked Amu back to the festival to have some fun they went through some mask, she picked a cat mask and he smirked so she bought it. Then her stomach started to grumble and so did Ikuto stomach so they bought taiyaki and Amu grabbed the bag first to tease Ikuto so she can treat him like a cat. When they were fooling around she grabbed catnip and waved it around suddenly his cat ears and tail pop up "come here neko-chan" Amu laughed and smiled with joy then Ikuto ran fast and grabbed Amu body and carried her somewhere. "Let me go you big pervert" Amu said he let her go and they were by an abandon bridge not many people use anymore "wow the lake looks so beautiful and there's even a full moon tonight"
     She turned around and saw Ikuto lean towards her, she blushed. Ikuto gave her a kiss on the lips and then the countdown begun to the new year 5,4,3,2,1 "HAPPY NEW YEAR"  everyone said. "Happy New Year, Ikuto" Amu smile "you too, Amu" Ikuto said they smiled and they went up a hill to get a perfect view of the fireworks. Amu wondered "where's the taiyaki and the catnip?" "looking for these" Ikuto smirk holding the taiyaki and cat nip . She got mad she couldn't tease Ikuto anymore, she tried to get it back but then she tripped and fell, Ikuto was on top of her. "Can you get off me Ikuto" Amu blushed "I like to stay like this for a little longer" Ikuto said. Then they just both lay down on the grass to get a perfect view, so they saw the fireworks holding hands together on a full moon. They enjoy the New Year together with some taiyaki and each other but then Ikuto teased her again so she chased Ikuto down the hill and called him "cat ear pervert." At the end they enjoy the New Year with her family and his family at a fancy sushi restaurant
